Welfare Visits: Volunteers Offering Comfort and Support

Our volunteers offer check-in visits for clients who require assistance when their caregiver or family members are not available. These visits provide reassurance to both the client and the caregiver, knowing that someone is looking out for them. Additionally, our volunteers offer short-term welfare visits for people recovering from illness or hospitalization who live alone. These visits offer a sense of comfort and support during a vulnerable time, making the recovery process easier and less lonely.

How often are Welfare Visits offered?

Welfare visits can be arranged for both regular check-ins as well as for those who need a visit during or recovery time from illness or surgery.

What is the cost?

Our services are absolutely free. We rely on our team of volunteers and donations to help care for our aging seniors—and the caregivers.
