Discover Giving the Gift of Independence:

Volunteer with Neighbors Who Care

We have a great need for transportation volunteers!

We have more requests than drivers so please consider helping out in this area!

Our client list is growing and we need YOUR help!

Do you have an hour or two to help our aging seniors?

  • Transportation - Drive clients to medical and other important appointments in their personal vehicle.
  • Dinner Delivery - Take prepared meals to homebound clients unable to cook for themselves.
  • Grocery Shopping - Homebound clients provide volunteers a grocery/prescription list, and volunteers pick up and deliver items to the client's home.
  • Friendly Visits - Enhance the quality of life by visiting clients with regular visits that are usually once a week.
  • Van Service - Drive our NWC van to take clients to grocery stores and select other stores.
  • Respite Visits - Provide companion visits for clients who cannot be left alone allowing the caregiver a break.
  • Business Assistance - Assist with accounting, banking, and insurance procedures.
  • Minor Repairs - Provide assistance in areas of small repairs and minor installations.

Start Volunteering!

Volunteering with Neighbors Who Care is easy and allows for flexibility based on your schedule. You get to choose the services you want to provide, and you can volunteer as little or as often as you like. Whether it's once a week, a couple of times a month, or more, we work around what works best for you!

However you choose to serve, your contribution can make a world of difference in the lives of our homebound neighbors who may not have anyone else nearby to help them.
