Grace is originally from Chicago, Illinois. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition and Medical Dietetics from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Master of Health Science Degree in Health Professions Education from Governors State University. She believes in health promotion and prevention of disease and actively worked in the Healthcare field for many years as a Registered Dietitian (RD) and Nutrition Consultant. Grace and husband Gene Woods moved to Arizona in 1997. She retired from Maricopa County Department of Public Health, Office of Nutrition Services in 2006. Widowed in July 2013, she has compassion for those who need a helping hand. She has been a resident of Sun Lakes for 17 years and has two daughters and three grandchildren. In the past, she has volunteered for various organizations as time permitted. She is a new member of Sun Lakes Rotary and a 2014 volunteer for Maranatha Volunteers International. Her hobbies are travel, gardening and crafts.
