Season for Sharing: Making a Difference for our Aging Seniors

Giving back to your community by supporting a charitable cause is a great way to help those in need. In Arizona, one such cause is The Arizona Republic’s Season for Sharing, an annual fundraising drive that helps struggling families, teachers, and older Arizonans throughout the year. Season for Sharing is an excellent example of how communities can come together to help those in need.

Through Season for Sharing, donors have contributed over $1.6 million to support various organizations across Arizona. We are thrilled to be one of the recipients of this year’s grants so we can continue our mission to help our aging neighbors live independently for as long as possible.

The grant will help us continue our mission by providing essential services to older adults in the Sun Lakes and South Chandler communities.

The grant will be used provide van transportation and take our clients to stores for groceries, medications and other essentials helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. It will also be used to help meal delivery (almost 12,000/year) as well as offer support for caregivers of dementia patients.

Thank you Arizona Republic and all who gave to Season for Sharing!
