Lin Sue Flood
As director of community engagement for Arizona’s leading hospice, Lin Sue oversees marketing, fund development, and volunteer programs for Hospice of the Valley. She is passionate about helping families find comfort, dignity and compassion when they need care for serious illness or dementia. She also oversees special community programs like music therapy, community grief support and tributes for military veterans.
Prior to her work with hospice care, Lin Sue spent 31 years as a newscaster for 12News. She graduated cum laude from Willamette University in Oregon and received her Master’s degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
She and her husband have 7 beautiful children and one very spoiled standard poodle named Kismet—who is a pet therapy dog who loves to visit Hospice of the Valley patients and families.
