Thriving Together: The Power of Social Connectedness

Social connectedness shapes how we live, age, and thrive. Much more than just the number of people we know, it comprises the quality of our relationships, our sense of belonging, and how we participate in community life. In this presentation, we will explore how social connections support health and wellbeing across the life course while examining the conditions that foster or hinder connection. Together, we will explore how cultivating connection can help individuals and communities move beyond getting by toward thriving together for a healthier older age.
