Fall Prevention Class

Pre-registration is required for this 8-week course designed to promote stability in everyday life. Ideal for those who have had previous falls or who have a concern about potential fall risks. Participants learn to control falls and fear of falling; set realistic goals for increasing physical activity; change one’s living environment to reduce fall risk factors; and promote exercise to increase strength and balance.
This class is taught by student instructors from A.T. Still University who lead group discussion, encourage problem-solving, share practical solutions, and develop action plans.
