Colette McNally, Secretary
Colette was born in Ireland and on completing her high school education moved to Spain where she completed her certification and began her teaching career teaching English as a foreign language. Colette then moved to Arizona and got her teaching credentials by, graduating with a BS in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University and an MA in Education Administration at University of San Francisco. In 1997 Colette received her certification in Nonprofit Management and for 16 years she worked in the field of prevention, delivered numerous trainings on prevention issues, volunteered with community organizations and served as an advocate for prevention as State President of “Arizonans for Prevention”. Colette last worked full time as the Director of Prevention for the Boys and Girls Club of the East Valley where she worked (1996-2006) doing grant writing and grant management, as well as developing program accountability and outcome measurement through staff training. After retiring she spent a couple of years working for Mesa Community College developing curriculum for teaching English to Chinese Students via the internet. Throughout her life Colette has been actively involved in many nonprofit organizations helping those in need locally, nationally and internationally. She now resides in Sun Lakes retirement community where she volunteers as a Homeowners Association Board member and dedicates a lot of her free time to making music. Besides volunteering for Neighbors Who Care Board she is a board member for Sun Lakes Rotary.
